Dorothy McCaughtry has been active in the healing community since 1998. A Master of Rainbow Reiki, Usui Reiki, and Karuna Reiki, she has also studied the Melchizedek Method of healing, as well as shamanic healing techniques with the South American shamans, Ipu and Cleicha. Her experience and training, in combination with her compassionate nature and psychic abilities, allow Dorothy to work effectively with anyone wishing to heal.
 
A professional law librarian for over thirty years, she owns her own consulting business, McCaughtry & Associates, Inc. (website). Dorothy began her energy healing work after the experience of her own mother's passing. Since that time she has become a Hospice volunteer as well as a reiki practitioner and teacher. She has been teaching Usui Reiki since 2000 and will begin Rainbow Reiki classes in 2005. It is her desire to use the reiki energy of unconditional love to assist others to find the peace and calm that it has brought to her own life.
